Many people in this country hate wind turbines because they are 'ugly'. I think that anything that will save the scarce resources of this beautiful planet is a bonus. After all we are all slowly destroying our habitat. Electrical substations and nuclear power stations are a lot 'uglier' in all senses of the word. And I quite like wind turbines, love their powerful presence and their sound; love staring at them and watching their speed. When they are not moving somehow it makes me feel unsettled. Yes, they are beautiful kinetic sculptures.
