The water cycle moves the river to the ocean, evaporates from the ocean to the atmosphere which in turn releases it back to earth to be filtered for the cycle to start all over again.
 
The water cycle is connected to the life cycle; everything we do in our daily lives will affect the oceans, ultimately affecting every single one of us. Humans have become increasingly disconnected from the planet that supports our existence and are losing respect for 'mother earth'.
 
We might be running out of time to do something about it. But in the end, although all forms of life might one day become extinct, the planet will survive and the sea will win.
